Cracked grins reside where spears have broken. The order of chains to lay. Incision. Slice this flood. A scaffold to claim seeds. Over, this tantrum grandstand, in solar sands. In flawed walls.
Reach and repent the mire sought. Laying down the timbre of gold.
When the spine within me clawed, hardened, pieces scattered from afar, gathered.
Burn my lens in sulfur as I coat my arms in stone.
Scrape my tide in sulfur as I drench my teeth in stone.
Paling crept to carry on. Like seas, further. Emission, my size sought. Retrace my span, default levers. In fragments, I see my mould.
Life befallen.
Seeking in clouds we lay. Vigour failing.
Reach and repent the mire sought. Laying down the timbre of gold.

Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace!
